Isn't coaching most helpful in the beginning?
Question:
How can a coach help me move along in my career when I am already well on
my way. Don’t you get the most out of a coach at the beginning of your transformation?
I have already made quite a few changes in my career during the past few
years. Partly by studying for my master’s degree in corporate economy when
I was 35 years old. Since then I have stood in for an accounting department
head and I am now employed full-time as a financial manager.

Carina answers:
I turn to coaches myself from time to time. The farther I come along in
my personal development, the more I see that I want out of life. Maybe sometimes
I want just a little extra push with some issue, and then I decide to work
with a coach. If you don’t think that a coach can contribute to your development
at the moment, then you should not turn to a coach. It is important that
you be motivated.
